There are many reasons why you may want to block visitors from initiating chats. Acquire lets you do this in two different ways;
1. An agent can block visitors directly from the chat window itself. This will allow them to browse through your website but will prevent them from initiating any chat on your website.
Click on Block User, and you will receive confirmation notification, and there you need to click on “OK” to block the user.
2. You can copy the IP address of the user you want to block and paste it in the text box provided under Settings > General Settings > Vistors and clicking the block button. This will allow visitors to browse your site but will prevent them from initiating any chats on your website.
You can find the IP Address of the user on the left-hand side of the Chat Window.
