For Developers- API/Web token

API Token:

API Tokens is a bit of a general term. Usually an API token is a unique identifier of an application requesting access to your service. Your service would generate an API token for the application to use when requesting your service. You can then match the token they provide to the one you store in order to authenticate.

Here you can also generate the new token by clicking on “Generate New Token” and this fresh token would be now accessible for any communication between the applications.

Web Token:

Web Token is a standard used to create access tokens for an application. It works this way: the server generates a token that certifies the user identity, and sends it to the client. The client will send the token back to the server for every subsequent request, so the server knows the request comes from a particular identity.
